MERCEDES SL500 R129 final facelift edition

This is a final edition SL 500 and it is in beautiful condition inside and out. I've just MOT,d it and the only advisory was slightly corroded brake pipes which I have just replaced for the whole car as a matter of course.
I have the full history from the car from new including the original build sheets and a complete book pack still in its Mercedes wallet. The car started out as a demonstrator and was then in the same family for the next 12 years until I bought it early last year.
The car has a very nice specification and comes with a multitude of extras from new. It is unmarked Azurite blue with Java Napa leather. The paintwork is superb and it actually looks better than it does in the pictures! The inside has no bolster wear and no rips or marks of any kind on the leather or the carpets. It has both driver and passenger orthopaedic full heated seats, electric steering column, cd changer, climate control, hard and soft tops, hard top stand, hard top cover and a custom car cover from covercraft.
The hood is superb and has no rips or tears and functions perfectly, the plastic windows are excellent and nice and clear.
I work for a Main Dealer and have access to full workshop and valeting facilities. I have been through the car front to rear and replaced anything that was not up to standard. In my ownership I have replaced all 4 tyres with the correct load and speed Continentals, replaced the coil packs, new MAF sensor, new hoses, 16 new correct specification spark plugs, new fuel filters, just serviced with Mobil1, new front disks and pads, new camber control arms on the rear, new bushings for the front suspension, 4 wheel laser alignment, new cat back custom stainless exhaust and lots more I can't remember!!
The car has always been garaged from new and when I'm not using it I keep it indoors at work.
It is absolutely spot on and there are no issues whatsoever with the car, it's been enthusiast owned from new and has money spent on it to keep it in tip top condition.
I know it's a cliche but this is truly the best R129 SL that I have seen and nobody will be disappointed.
The registration number is not for sale with the car, and it will be put back to its original number on sale.
I'm looking to sell and buy another classic so I would be interested in a trade subject to EBay rules.
