1979 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class. This Car has been painted and the front seats have been reupholstered. The color is slightly different than the original color, color is listed as silver, but it borders on being gold in color. The paint is a high quality paint job, the trim was removed and you will not find junk in the paint, there are some scratches where the hard top attaches (see photo) and bubbling near the wheel wells. Overall the Car looks fantastic! It Drives like a DREAM.Vehicle was acquired in 2019 from the LARZ Anderson Auto Museum (Brookline MA) and was valued at $17,500. Since then it has been driven a few times a month. over the last two years it has been driven about 600 miles. It runs, drives and brakes fine. The air conditioning does not work and I have never had it checked. The problem is unknown. The Hardtop is in great shape. The Soft top is in excellent shape but is not the original soft top. Local buyers are welcome to view it by appointment. I can also bring it to a local shop for inspection at purchasers expense. I will only move it on a dry day.
