1957 Mercedes-Benz 220S Ponton

This 1957 Mercedes-Benz 220S four-door was acquired in January 2019 and subsequently underwent refurbishment work that included refinishing the body in black over a red interior, All chromes have been taken off and redone, Brand new carpet and new interior Carpet and seats as well as wood trim was redone at the same time, Every chrome piece of the car was taken off including the interior handles and have been re-chromed. Power comes from a 2.2-liter inline-six paired with a column-shifted four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes dual Weber carburetors, 14″ wheels with body-color covers, power-assisted brakes, Hella driving lights, a VDO clock, and an aftermarket Sony CD radio. serviced the and tuned the carbs and replaced all plugs. is said to have included replacing the spark plugs. Heater cables where not installed as we had a death in family and i have no interest in the car what so ever! Car could use a smaller size tire as i never got a chance to replace them.
