The Mercedes Benz SL class has been around for longer than Lamborghini has existed as a company, with the first models being manufactured in 1954. Its a sports car so antique that the Mercedes company debated exactly what SL stood for up until 2017, when a lucky discovery in a corporate archive revealed the abbreviation meant Super Light. The SL class was founded off of an idea by renowned european sports car importer Max Hoffman, who predicted a desire in the prosperous post-war american economy for a subdued sports car that catered to the comfort of affluent car cognoscenti. Thankfully for Mercedes, Maxs prediction was right on the money. After nearly 70 years of production, the SL class is a model that has become synonymous with luxury driving. This chassis number 022403 comes in the highly desired diamond white with a silk beige / espresso brown nappa leather interior that feels as comfortable as it looks classy. This plush interior is accented with a wood and leather steering wheel and illuminated door sills.
