Description
We have owned the car for the past 23 years and it has not seen a raindrop during that time. It has been a weekend driver to Lake Coeur d'Alene with summer trips to British Columbia, Northern Alberta, the desert SW and the Pacific Coast Highway. It is now at our home in Las Vegas, where it knows its way to Red Rock Canyon,Lake Mead.and the Bellagio. .
The car drives like new. This summer we had a major tune-up, added electronic ignition, replaced the electric fuel pump and replaced the bushings in the shifter. Compression was tested and shop advised it was to original spec and a fine example of this model.
All numbers match and Mercedes spot welds are clearly visible.
The speedometer is the original KM/hr reference.
Both tops are included and are in excellent condition. The plastic window in the soft top has a slight scuff at the fold. The top was installed new in 2008, and might have been up twice since then. It is still stiff.
The car was repainted in 2006 (sand and paint in original color) and has rarely been outside overnight except on our summer trips.
Only reason we are selling is we are downsizing to a home that has no place to keep the car.
