Mercedes-Benz : SL-Class 280sl

I bought this car in 2008. There is very little rust on this car. It is the original colour but not the original paint. The chrome is quite nice. The interior in blue MB Tex and a little faded. There are a few cracks on the dash in the vinyl. The carpets are original and a bit faded. The driver's seat should probably be rebuilt. The radio and the air conditioning do not work. The flashers do not lock in position when you turn. The rheostat on the instrument lights is shot.The mileage reads 84,292 but this is likely 184,292. It is not the original engine and it idles quite rough. The compression is down on the 5th cylinder to about 100psi. It does drip a little oil and has to be topped up at times. There is a bearing hum in the rear end that I have not been able to pinpoint.
Besides the above it is quite a nice car.
The hard and soft tops are both in good shape.
I do not have any history of the car besides the name of the person that I bought it from.
The buyer is responsible for all additional costs such as taxes and shipping.
The car is sold as is, where is. There is no guarentee.
The entire purchase amount will have to be wired to my bank account within 7 days of purchase.
The vehicle will not leave my property until all the money is in my account.
