Description
Mercedes slk 200 kompressor auto. 97000 miles , full Mercedes history , all old mot's and Mercedes invoices for every service 9 stamps in service book , 1 previous keeper.
The car is mechanically perfect , everything works including roof , no warning lights. Drives without issue changing through all gears smoothly and without issue. Everything is nice and tight. Mechanically there are no problems at all. Very well looked after car , serviced by Mercedes main dealers at every specified interval.
Unfortunately , the car is now a cat c after a rear end hit causing light damage to both front and rear , see pics.
Airbags did not deploy so the abs is all in order, damage to rear consists of scratching to rear bumper which will just need re painting.
The bar behind bumper has bent slightly so needs to be and can be pulled out and rear wing needs realignment , As a result the boot lock does not connect with catch so does not lock shut. Hence tape in photos.
The damage to front consists of damaged bumper, grill and bonnet which can be repaired and front light has pushed in. Again can be pulled out, however I've been advised a new front bumper would be needed as not repairable to a good standard. (Can be repaired but would be better to get new bumper)
The only new part required is front bumper , everything else can be repaired.
I was quoted by my body repair man £750 to put everything right including parts , paint and labour.
Nothing has been affected by the damage apart from what you see. The car still drives exactly as it did before accident. The airbags did not deploy so there are no warning lights on as a result. The radiator is also fine and was not affected.
The car has full Mercedes history and only one previous owner and has 97000 miles from new.
Once the body repairs have been carried out the car will once again be a nice slk , I will stress again , mechanically the car is perfect with no issues whatsoever. Drives perfectly with no issues.
Only work that needs doing is the body repair.
