Hi and welcome to my auction for my stunning Mercedes Benz SLK 320 V6 AMG. A future classic for sure. Especially with this spec.
Main points to note:
Hood works 100% perfectlyAuto Box is smooth, fully operational through all gears and selections, Sport & Winter modes etc, also the tiptronic function works perfectly and was serviced early this year.Engine is sweet as a nut, pulls like a train, sounds amazing All tyres have plenty of tread, and are premium brandsMOT July 2016Old MOTs and service HistoryBodywork is very Tidy.The car is on a 2001 Y reg. Has 103,000 miles, Full Red and black heated, electric leather seats, Genuine AMG kit and Genuine wheels (Not Copies) with good premium tyres.
It has also had the front grille upgraded to the AMG / SL grille. I have the original if required, it will come with the car. Other extras include stainless steel AMG kick plates that light up the AMG logo with blue LED when you open the door. Looks fantastic. And an upgraded sony cd/mp3 player.
Car is on a private Registration at the moment, but will be put back on to the original reg, private reg does not come with the car.
The pics do not do the car justice, it really is nice, even the garage when they MOT'd it said that they were astounded by how clean and faultless it is for its age.
I could waffle on all day about this car and how ridiculously fast, smooth and fun to drive it is, but if you are in the market for one of these then you probably already know that, and will also know that the 3.2 V6 is smother and quieter to drive than the smaller engined kompressor version.
The hard top makes this a useable car all year round. I have had many convertibles before, with cloth type hoods, and they are freezing in cold weather, leak all the time, noisey etc. But this mercedes designed hard top is another level, it is quiet, water tight, warm, and most importantly it works 100% with no faults. It was serviced earlier this year too.
So, if it's so fabulous then why am I selling it?? A fair question. Well.I only purchased it, on a whim, as a toy for the summer, and it has been used once every weekend for a few miles at a time, and it sits at home on the drive all week unused, as I work away most weeks, so its a bit of a waste really. I am in need of another transit type vehicle for my business, so I may as well sell the Merc to use the money for another van. Simple as that.

As with all mercedes of a certain age, it does have the odd rust blemish, unfortunately it is part and parcel of mercedes ownership and with this car, it is no way out of control. But in time, will have to addressing to prevent any further corrosion.
I am not desperate to sell the car, so i won't be giving it away for nothing. If I don't get what I want for it, then it will be garaged for the winter, and used again next spring, so no silly or insulting offers please. I know what it is worth with this desireable spec, in this condition and being a future classic Mercedes Benz.
In summary, a great value, powerful, fantastic looking Mercedes sports car in fully working order, for the price of a second hand fiesta!!
