Description
2004 Mercedes SLK350 R171
Up for sale is my wife's beloved SLK.
She has owned this car for 5 hassle free years (Typical Mercedes reliability) and has covered less than 20,000 miles.
It has full service history and the only thing it has needed over those 5 years is normal servicing and wear and tear items except for a air conditioning condenser which has just been replaced when it went in for it's latest MOT.
The paint is in good condition and only has a couple of age related marks and glazing to the rear roof pillars (Common Problem).
The light grey leather interior is in great shape with no marks/rips or distortion in the bolsters.
An added extra is the wooden steering wheel which just adds that little bit more class.
It is also fitted with a Bluetooth Hands Free module so you can connect your ever important phone and all the usual Mercedes extras like:
Electric Memory Seats, 6 Disc CD Player, Air Con (Who needs it when you can put the roof down???) Electric folding mirrors, Sat Nav etc, etc.
Now some tech speak
The engine is a 272bhp V6. Seriously rapid, the SLK350 will rocket to 60mph in 5.4 seconds even when fitted with the new '7-GTRONIC' automatic gearbox.
The revised engine is rotary-smooth and blessed with a constant stream of 258 pound-feet of torque from 2400 to 5000 rpm that provides excellent 30-to-50- and 50-to-70-mph top-gear passing times. This is a seductively sporty engine that accelerates the SLK quicker than a Nissan 350Z.
DO NOT GET THIS CONFUSED WITH THE 200/280. THIS IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT BEAST!!!
Serious buyers only please!!
If you are willing to bid then you must have the funds to complete the transaction, these are Ebay rules??? Not mine!!
