Description

Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class.
This car is in original condition with no modifications.I have meticulously cared for this car since I’ve had it - which is roughly 10 years. I am the third owner. It has always been in Arizona.
I have the original window sticker, books, Jack, tool kit, radio keys and 2 car keys.
The tires are less than a year old.
Everything works on the car except the 6 disk CD changer which I haven’t had time to look at.Paint is in great shape except for some rock chips. Interior is in excellent condition- leather no tears - and I ordered paint from Germany to touch up any chips in the interior.
Some things I have repaired since I’ve had it.I installed new motor mounts and transmission mount, brakes, plugs, plug wires ignition switches, new belts, hoses, pulleys, filters, battery, radiator reservoir, K40 relay, siren, trunk and hood struts, convertible top lift cylinder as well as the headliner.
This is just a short list off the top of my head.I have receipts for everything.
I always change the oil - synthetic on a regular basis. Only premium fuel. Oil change was just done a month ago with a comprehensive full inspection.
The car runs great.Things that may need service down the road.
The front control arms show some wear. In my opinion they should be good for at least another year or so.I also see a small coolant leak near the back of the engine which looks like it may be seeping from the head gasket? I'm not certain as I've only added about 4 oz of coolant in the last several months. It may even be able to be sealed with Barsleaks - but I don’t want to add that. I prefer to have the new owner decide.
There are no other leaks.
I did have someone hit the bumper some years back but it did not cause any structural damage. I had it repainted at the dealer.
Otherwise, I have always repaired anything that was even the least bit worn. I am at the point now where I would like to get another type of vehicle (Jeep). I have another Mercedes and only room in the garage for one more car.
I realize the worn mentioned items will have some cost and labor to repair even if you do yourself and the pricereflects that
.If you love these cars this is the perfect opportunity to own one that was really well cared for and is in original condition.
