Description
This is a somewhat rare SLK 350 in very good shape. This model was manufactured in Germany, unlike most others. This is a very fun car to drive. I imagine if you're looking at this ad, you already know what you're looking for.
Common questions:
- It has no issues with the balance.
- The clutch is in good shape and the car drives very well.
- The heat scarfs work great as well as every other feature of the car.
The vehicle is currently in Victorville, CA ready to be picked up or shipped. It is registered in Texas with a clean title (registration is expired by a month, needing a $75 renewal if it stays in Texas or can be registered in any other state, obviously).
It's mechanically excellent with only a couple of minor cosmetic issues with minor cracking of the front bumper (as seen in the photos below the front license plate). With a smooth six-speed manual, it drives great and the tires are in good shape. I has the 6 disc CD changer in the glove box and awesome Bose speakers.
The hard top convertible works smoothly and has no issues. It was lubricated and had its hydraulic fluid changed two years ago as a precaution, but I've never had an issue with it. It will need new brake pads soon, but otherwise the maintenance is up to date.
Featuring the red leather interior (no cracks or rips), this hard-top convertible has 131555 miles on it. It's been garaged most of its life and driven across the country a few times. It has never seen salt or snow, and has no rust or issues with the frame.
It has been reported to be in one accident in 2006, and it seems it may have had a body panel replaced, per a body shop I had inspect it.
Included with the car is a ODB handheld computer for all diagnostics and configurations (was ~$300 on Amazon and has all the codes for this exact vehicle).
If you have any questions or are interested, please contact me.
Please note: I hate the electronic bay. They messed up my account (I used to have over 100 feedback), but at least my last feedback of selling a $36k Merceds Sprinter van is still present. Also, if you sent me a question last time I may not have been able to reply because eBay would only give me errors when I clicked to reply. In protest of eBay being a worsening platform, this listing will not be listed again. If this car does not sell, I will reluctantly ship it to myself and keep it.
Thanks,
J. C. Hammons (jch dot bitma dot st)
