The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing represents one of the most unique, innovative and iconic exotic supercars ever created, and with its limited production numbers, advanced engineering, and breathtaking styling - featuring beautifully designed and articulated, yet user friendly gullwing doors that make the car the “spiritual successor” to the legendary 300SL Gullwings of the 50s and 60s, these cars are instant classic and collectors items that will not only retain their value, but appreciate much like the highly sought after Ford GTs of 2005 and 2006.
The SLS models were the first Mercedes-Benz cars designed and built entirely from scratch by Mercedes-Benz performance/race car division, AMG, and feature cutting edge, state-of-the-art technology coupled with “the worlds most powerful naturally aspirated production series engine,” being the ground shaking 6.3 litre V8, which produces a staggering 563 horse power and 479 lb-ft of torque through a 7-speed automatic transmission.
The example offered for sale can be described as "still in the wrapper,” and presents as virtually new.
It is featured in the most stunning color available, being “AMG ALUBEAM,” also known as “liquid silver” a special order color option priced over $14,000 and is worth every penny. It comes with every available record and document from new, meticulously organized in a chronologically organized binder, as well as a custom made charcoal colored car cover.
