1973 Mercury Comet

For sale is a 1973 Mercury Comet. This is an original owner car in the rare 2dr coupe hardtop with under 77K original miles.
Car was last driven by original owner March 2018 before he passed away. Car was sitting until recently when ignition coil was replaced. Car runs but needs the carburetor rebuilt. The brakes also need to be redone to be roadworthy.
Overall body is in fair condition. No structural or frame damage. There is minimal rust on the bottom of the doors and rear quarters. There is some surface rust on the bumpers.
There is a hole in the drivers side floor that needs to be fixed or pop in a new floor panel.
Interior is in good condition with exception of a small rip in drivers seat.
The car also has working air conditioning.
This is a great candidate for an easy restoration or resto mod car. Or, just fix brakes and daily drive as is.
