Hi thanks for looking at my 1972 cougar this is a good starter project car i will be honest and upfront as possible but please ask questions.
The car runs and drives and stops but i would not plan a road trip with it until you went through breaks suspension etc. I drive it around town but thats it. Very original car
Engine
351c 2v runs good no knocks or smoking
I installed an edelbrock intake and autolite 4 barrel carb
Needs tuned to be perfect has slight off idle hesitation
Also just replaced distributer with a pertronix ignitor 1 no more points.
Transmission
Fmx 3 speed factory
Shifts great has small leak at the pan i believe
Rear end
Factory 9" 2.79 open
Interior
Is factory passenger and back seats are in great condition driver's seat has tears see pictures
Missing center console
Headliner has tears throughout
Dash pad in perfect shape
Drivers door strap missing
Exterior has been repainted by previous owner original color not a great job 10 footer at best. Hazy and full of chips
The top was removed by me sanded and had a line x spray on bedliner top 300$ looks great and has uv protection so it will shine for a long time gets compliments at shows.
The body is solid no major rust theres a small spot from a dent in passenger quarter panel (last picture) i removed trunk liner and primed it for specle paint but havent finished it.
Tires are new 195/70r14
Factory power steering and power front disc brakes.
Factory sequential tail lights that work recently repaired by me.
Very nice car for a few dollars could be a great cruiser opening bid is less than i have in the car. I will help with shipping but i do not provide it. Thanks for looking.
