1969 Mercury Cougar Base

Nice driver condition Cougar. The car has been mechanically restored with over 4k in parts in the last 6-7 months. The goal was to have my wife and daughter get in, start right up, drive like it should and be safe. The car got all NEW front and rear suspension, numerous electrical parts, the engine was resealed so there are no leaks. You can hop right on and go 80 down the freeway with no hesitation. The power top works but needs new back window. The car was completely original from 1969 when I got it. It does need more to be perfect but its fun stuff now. The hard mechanical items are done. The is very little rust on the car, mainly surface rust underneath. There is some crusty on LR wheel lip and in the corner pf the doors but solid otherwise. Thumbs up every time I drive. If you want to make it a 25k car you can easily. I don't have it priced as such. I had the car sold once already on e-bay and the guy did not pay or make any kind of contact with me.
NEW turn signal switch, headlight switch, p/s pump/ power brake booster, pointless ignition, new DISC brakes on front, all new front and rear suspension-including rear leaf springs and pads, new timing chain and gears, waterpump, intake and valve cover gaskets, new holley carb, hoses,belts, radiator, timing cover, tires, used set of rims, new gas tank and sending unit.
Gauges work, clock works but slow, factory radio tries to work, makes noise ( new antenna did not fix). Interior is nice but is original so shows age from 69 but nice enough. You can truly just start this car and drive it as is and in my opinion drives just as it should, just like 1969. Factory head lights, brake lights, running light and turn signals all work.
