Car runs strong and sounds even better.
Will also include a set of Stainless Works Long tube headers with off road lead pipes (no cats) for additional $1300. These will not be included with just the sale price of the car. Current lead time for SW headers is 12 weeks. Will accept separate Paypal for headers.
Also have a set of new front struts that will be included with the price of the car.
Driver door lock actuator is weak, I have a replacement, just haven't had time to install it.
Paint is in decent shape. There are a couple spots where there is surface rust causing the paint to bubble. One spot on the passenger rear quarter where the paint has flaked off. Roughly the size of a penny. Can be seen in pictures. No real rust cancer, just surface.
Driver's side exhaust manifold gasket has a small exhaust leak. Not damaging anything, just a noticeable tick from the leak. My plan was to replace the factory manifolds with the long tubes.
Occasional check engine light from the fuel pressure sensor. Sensor was recently replaced along with the fuel pump Not hurting anything and hasn't affected driveability. I have been clearing the code with the X4 tuner.
Timing chain slap during start up and goes away. This is not unusual for these cars or any 4v from that era.
Even with the few concerns, this is a 17 year old car that is rare and not ragged out like many you will find. Check prices and most of these cars are going for several thousands more with more miles.
This car was purchased 3 weeks ago in Indiana from the second owner. First owner used it for car shows and second owner did the same with his son who was also a Marauder enthusiast. I made a 1900 mile round trip to purchase this car after searching for months for the right one.
The ONLY reason for selling this car already is an opportunity to buy a built fox body Mustang has come around but this one has to go first.
Car is free of any liens and has a clean title.
