Dark Green Metallic, 1971 Mercury Cyclone GT 49,806 original miles. I have owned this car for 15 years and started restoration some years back. This car does start and runs. The fuel pump was removed, I have a new one but I have not yet put it back on.
This car has a C-6 transmission with standard ratio gears for the rear axle and heavy duty suspension along with the traction bars.
The traction bars are dented at the tip {see pics} and I was planning on replacing them with better ones.
The overall condition of the interior is in excellent condition with the following:
-Headliner is like brand new condition {no rips or tears}
- Door panels are in excellent condition
- Rear inside panels on driver and passenger side are in excellent condition
- Grab handles for the rear drivers side and rear passenger side plus the grab handle for the front passenger are in like new condition.
The grab handle for the drivers front has a small tear on the top of the handle {see pic}
- New rug
- Custom steering wheel
- Center console is in very good condition {comes with a matching ashtray}
- Back seats are in like new condition {no rips or tears}
- All 3 sets of seat belts for the rear seat are intact and working
- Shoulder/waist seat belts for the driver and passenger are intact and working.
- Front seats are in excellent condition
- Have all 4 chrome rings and hub caps with the GT logo -{one hub cap is missing the GT}
- Have the GT logos that go on the body. They are in excellent condition
- Have the Cyclone logos that go on the body. They are in excellent condition. {one of the stems on the back of the cyclone logo
is missing {see pic}
The dash pad was cracked and was recovered. The original gauges are still attached their just covered up when the dash was recovered.
All of the body emblems and side markers were removed when I started to work on the car and spray it with grey rust primer.
The body itself is in very good condition with minor rust. The body only has 1 rust hole and that is on the drivers side just below the door.
I do not know how many cyclone GT were made with the dark green metallic paint code or how many were made with that color with a 351C and a C-6 transmission code.
Includes a clear title. Car is being sold AS IS.
