Description
Good starting point for someone looking to restore a 1954 Mercury Monterey. It’s a two door with the 256 Y block and merc-o-matic automatic transmission. Very solid body.
Note: on the 54 2 door the passenger side rear quarter panel it there is staining and it throws off the look of the surface of the metal, the metal it is straight maybe a slight ding about 2-3" around. On the bottom quarter panels behind the tires is a little rust (typical for the old cars) Otherwise straight quarter panels.
Plus there is an xtra car will throw in if you want it. It’s a 1953 4dr. Pink in hand and on nonop
The 1954 Mercury 2dr Has clean pink it’s the old California style pink. The black plates are a match to the title as well.
A restoration was started on the 1954 2dr. but other cars in the collection are taking priority so my dad is letting this one go.

A lot of parts have been removed for the restoration and some new parts have been bought. Both are solid cars very little rust couple small dime size holes in the floor ease fix and the spare tire holder /pan in the trunk the bottom is rusted out but there is a replacement pan included. see pics. Couple small holes on the bottom rear quarter panels. The factory engine is a 256 Y block the first year for the Mercury Y-blocks and has the factory merc-o-matic automatic transmission in it. The engine is complete and turns over by hand. Put camera inside from what I can see it looks good to do a rebuild. The interior is complete just taken apart. All the parts are there. The two door 1954 has the old school 5”x5” title/pink slip and the license plates pictured are the same as on the title.
The 4 door has complete title and has been on a nonop since 2000. Very solid and like the 2 door has very little rust.
Not selling any of the parts separately. I am not parting these cars out.
