1950 Mercury 2 door coupe

If you are looking for an OLD SCHOOL 50 Merc. Customized Lead Sled, you just found it. My Merc. is a older restoration but still in fabulous condition.Parallel rail x frame (Original). 255 cu.in Flathead v-8, Isky cam & lifters, engine bored 60 thousants over, with new pistons. The crank was turned and new mains & rod bearings. The engine was relieved and fitted with Edelbrock High compression finned heads & outfitted with chrome acorn nuts. Mallory distributor with electronic ignition. Holly 4 BBL. Custom made stainless headers feeding duel Cherry bombs for that OLD SCHOOL SOUND. Borg Warner five speed transmission with new clutch, pressure plate & throughout bearing. The diff. is the original. Front suspension is original but lowered 2 inches as is the rear. It has power steering & tilt steering wheel. OEM brakes, but EVERYTHING new. The body is all steel with louvered hood that was rounded at the corners. 1953 Buick stainless side trim, frenched headlights, lake side pipes (just for pretty). The skirts are custom fitted to match the Buick side trims. Aluminum radiator, power trunk release, power antenna, and power windows. The interior was redone in gray tweed, including door panels and headliner.All wiring was replaced with a complete E-Z wiring kit. 12 volt conversion including alternator. Again, if you want an OLD SCHOOL 50 customized Merc. two door coupe that starts and runs very well every time, you just found it.
