Description
I'm selling my beloved MGB GT. Sadly I don't have time to drive it enough anymore.
The car is in great condition without any issues whatsoever.
I just did a 450 mile roundtrip to visit a car show in 1 day without any problems.
The hard top MG Coupes are becoming more collectible in the last few years. Especially the 1970 models since they are the only model year with a split rear bumper.
Take a look at the fender mounted side view mirror. A nice detail you don't find very often.
The original wood steering wheel and the gear shift knob were installed as a dealer option when new.
Finished in the classic Bronze Yellow paint (repainted 15+ years ago). The hood has some cracking in the paint as typical for the age (see hood picture). There is also a little bubble under the finish on one of the doors (less than 1/4").
In the last 3 years I had the following work done by my Jaguar/MG mechanic:
- New front and rear suspension package
- New exhaust
- Carburetors rebuilt
- Radiator cooling fan added
- New transmission seals
- LED bulbs installed
- Battery cut-off switch installed
- mscs. items replaced
All the receipts and paperwork for the last 10+ years are included.
Also included are:
- Indoor soft car cover
- Workshop manual
- MGB Maintenance DVD
- New MG floor mats
