Description

Up for auction is a driver quality 1973 MGB with a 4 speed manualtransmission ( non-overdrive ). A nice driving car selling at a great low price.

Mechanicals: The car runs and drivers out verynicely with no know issues at this time. The car starts right up with no smokeor noises. The car holds very good oil pressure ( 60 /65 lbs. at warm idle ) and does not over heat. The transmission shift very wellup / down thru all the gears with no noises or scraping. The car will reverse up an incline with no issues and does not pop out ofgear. The clutch peddle is good as are the brakes. The steering is tight andresponsive. The car was just had a tune up, oil changed and new air filtersinstalled.

Electrical's: This area looks very solid with noknown Lucas "gremlins" that I can find. The head lights work ( high beam and lowbeam ), wipers work, blower fan works, brake lights work, front and reardirectional lights work, front and rear running lights work, dash gauge lightswork, dash light dimmer switch works, license plate lights work, reverse lightswork, map light / courtesy light works, horn works and the radio works. Also, the battery has been recently replaced and a "cut off" switchinstalled.

Gauges: All gauges are correct "Smith" brand and in working orderat this time.

Interior: The interior is overall very goodcondition ( see photos ). This year the carpets where replaced and MG logoprotective rubber floor mats installed.

Exterior: The exterior is in what I call "driverquality" condition and is not a show car ( hence the low sale price ). The carsits evenly and squarely on the ground and has no signs of sagging or thedreaded "MG left leaning" issues.

Soft Top: The soft top fits nicely and has a zip out rear window. All glass is clear and has no rips or tears.

Trunk: Is very solid. The trunk has in it theoriginal jack and wire wheel knock off tool and a set of sun visors.

Overseas Bidders: Yes the auction is open tooverseas bidders. The auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need toship overseas try SchumacherCargo Logistics shipping for fast free quotes (

In Closing: Please understand that this is a great running /driving car but should not be considered a show car. Just a simple, inexpensivedriver selling to the highest bidder.

I know how hard it is to purchase a car online soplease ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can comesee and drive the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I wantthe winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. Due to the carsage and having no way to warranty the car I'm selling her "as is" and mileage"exempt" . A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours ofauctions end ( no exceptions ).
