Description
Totally restored 1973 MGB lovingly owned by same owner for 39 years. First total restore in 1990-91. Second restore 2013. Complete frame tear-down paint job in British Racing Green, including 5 coats of primer with wet sanding between each coat.
Totally refurbished interior with new carpeting, Leather seats in Autumn Leaf ( not MG vinyl ) custom dashboard and custom kick panels with new slim-line speakers, including speakers in the rear panel. Sound deadening insulation throughout interior. Kenwood stereo with USB, CD, Bluetooth and phone connection and remote. This system is so good you can listen to NPR with the top down.
Car comes with top, tonneau cover, rear top cover, the original MG wheels and a load of extras.
Mechanically, the car has a rebuilt engine with 520 miles, new clutch, new brakes, new Rack and Pinion steering, new shocks, new custom-built leaf springs with extra bars for added stability. A total of 120,520 miles on car, average of 3000/year. Electrical has been checked and updated with LED brake and turn signals lights. A tight 4 speed transmission with electric overdrive.
This car is as fast and tight as the day it came off the line.
May consider trade for late 60's convertible. Camaro, firebird and the like..
