Description

I purchased this vehicle in 2001 and over the years have invested a lot of time and money to begin to restore and to maintain it. I personally restored the entire interior with a kit including new foam seats, all interior carpeting and all interior panels with a bisquit colored material. I also purchased four new alloy wheels (see photos). I have a custom white hard top that comes with the car. I removed the convertible soft top after it was damaged and purchased a new convertible top that I intended to install, but never did. The new convertible roof kit also comes with the car. I have the original touneau, but it is worn and damaged. I serviced the car annually and replaced the brakes and whatever else my mechanic told me it needed until a few years ago. I have all service records since 2001 and also have the prior owner's records for the period before 2001.
Even though I have owned the car for almost 14 years, in that time I have only driven it for a total of less than 800 miles. I kept the car at my summer house on Long Island and rarely used it. I generally stored the car in a garage for the winters and only used it in the summer. During that time it ran well and always started after being stored for the winter. I stopped using the car a couple of years ago and I believe it needs a new starter. It is not in running condition now and would need to be transported to the buyer. I would be willing to facilitate, but the buyer would be responsible for arranging for transporting the car and costs from zip code from the east end of Long Island, NY.
The exterior is in good shape, with what I believe is the original paint, but the paint on the hood had some chip and cracks in it . This would be a great car for someone who wants a project car that is partially restored.
This car means a lot to me, but I have not used the car in a long while and am selling the house on Long Island, so I no longer have a place to keep it. Sadly, it is time for me to let go of this car.
