Description
1971 MG Midget
Up For sale is my 71 MG Midget. I bought this car from an Arizona owner in February 2013. After two years of enjoying the car, I have decided to sell it and move on to another project finishing my 62 Chevy C10. This car is exceptionally clean and rust free. It has the normal body dings here and there due to its age, but nothing out of the ordinary. I have tried to include plenty of pictures for your review. This MG has been almost 75% restored and has over 10K in restoration work in the last 3 years. Receipts for all of the work and parts installed will come with the car and will total well over 10K.
The new owner could finish the restoration on this car and use it as a weekend driver, a daily driver or take it to the track with few modifications. The engine has been rebuilt with a high performance cam, carb and headers and a Nissan 5 speed transmission has been installed with a Rivergate conversion kit. The following is a summary of the major item replaced on the car.
Engine Overhauled, w/ HP Cam, Weber Carb.
Nissan 5 Speed Transmission, w/ Rivergate conversion.
Headers with Stainless Exhaust & new muffler.
New convertible top, w/ new frame.
New Radiator.
New rack and pinion.
New front dampers.
Rear shock conversion.
New Brakes and Master cylinder.
Tires are 95% tread.
Too many other items to list, but receipts will be included.
Please Only serious bidders and buyers.
The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs and pickup. I will be glad to assist with pickup if you use a third party shipping company.
A deposit of $500 is due 24 hours after auction close and full payment is due within 7 days of auction close.
