Here we have a solid California project car taken off the road in 1988 due to an accident with some front end damage. The damage was confined to the front cross member, the lower radiator duct panel and the front tip of the right frame. All of the parts to replace the damage are included with the car, see pics of complete front end. The right front fender is also in need of straightening and repair of some rust bubbles at the bottom The front floors only are in need of repair or replacement due to minor holes. New ones are available for 65 UK pounds ($100). The left door has a hole punched in it at the lower front during storage and also has the crack typical of many cars at the vent window, an undamaged door is included with the car.Now to the good, rocker panels and inner sills on both sides are solid with no rust showing, dog legs lower fenders are also solid as are the quarter panels. The trunk floor is solid as is the lid. There is no rust in the frame and other than the front damage there doesn't appear to be other collision damage.
According to the previous owner the engine was rebuilt in the 80's when she acquired the car and a new dash was installed and is not cracked The car was used regularly until the accident with transmission and O/D working. No attempt has been made to start the car, it rolls and shifts for loading. The windshield looks good but the interior will need replacement. A top frame is present but no top.
Compared to a rusty car this car makes a sensible project with "C" values rising and restored cars bring 30-40k in North America and more in Europe. The car is about 1 hour from Buffalo N.Y.
