Description

This car is possibly the only one of its kind Australia and only one of two or three known in the world.
It was rebuilt in 1998 as a racing car using an unlimited budget. The images speak for themselves.
It is understood that the car has a minimal racing history as the previous owner who had the car prepared for him to commence his racing career moved onto other more powerful MGB's including a V8. I believe the car has not raced or had much other use since the early 2000's by the previous owner. It has also had minimal use in the last three years since I have owned it.
This car has an MGB motor (number 18GBUH40942), gearbox, front end and rear end and it performs!
Exact details of the motor are unknown but it most likely has a cam in it. It has an “O” series head with twin SU carbies. A supercharger was fitted to this car previously but was not fitted when I purchased it. Further information forwarded to me indicates that the motor had a supercharger camshaft installed during its build. It is likely that the motor still has the same camshaft in it, so another supercharger could be fitted with minimal additional work. The gearbox is a Mark 1 MGB type and is very tight. Uncertain if it is a straight cut box.
A major service was recently completed including replacement of all fluids and the clutch slave cylinder.
Six additional steel wheels similar to those on the car are included (two tyres on these only). Other spare parts can be purchased separately to the car.
