MG YA Saloon 1948

This car is possibly the only one of its kind Australia and only one of two or three known in the world.
It was rebuilt in 1998 on an unlimited budget. The images speak for themselves.
The car has had minimal use since the early 2000s.
This car has an MGB motor (number 18GBUH40942), gearbox, front end and rear end.
Exact details of the motor are unknown but it most likely has a cam in it. It has an “O” series head with twin SU carbies. Compression on all 4 cylinders is strong. (140psi) The gearbox is a Mark 1 MGB type and is very tight.
A major service was recently completed including replacement of all fluids and the clutch slave cylinder.
Six additional steel wheels similar to those on the car are included (two tyres on these). Other spare parts can be purchased separately to the car.
