Mini : Classic Mini

Vehicle is good condition- the body is very good for its age. The seats, door panels, headliner and carpet also in good condition- no rips, tears or fading.. It is a Right Hand Drive vehicle imported from Japan to Canada some years ago and registered and being driven in Canada. VIN is 99XA120512AR .No signs of rust . The under carriage is good except the previous owner must have jacked the car up wrongly and slight dent near the jacking points at the front. Car drives well except when the automatic transmission shifts to lower gear ( from 4th to 3rd) there is a slight jerk but I overcome this by shifting to 3rd when slowing down. The webasco sunroof appears wriggly because the front does not fully close flushed- must be a cable problem as the sunroof motor works and due to the cable, is stuck at the front - but the rear part can be opened manually with the handle.- no leaks in spite of heavy rain. There is a slight leak from the right drive shaft and the mechanic says that it is a seal and can be fixed easily. Spent over $3500 in upgrades and replacement parts recently- including electronic ignition, all bushings, mounts, bearings, tie rods, plugs, etc The only reason I am selling this car after doing it up is because my long-awaited Cortina GT is now in sight and I need the cash and garage space for it.
