Here we have my wife beloved R53 Mini Cooper S, with the factory fitted Aero body kit & leather seats.It has been in the family for just over 18 months and it has been a pleasure to own and drive the reason for selling is my wife wants to be part of the VW group i'm in and has now bought a golf.
the Mini is superb to drive probably the easiest car i have ever driven, you can drive around in 6th gear and it will pull effortlessly even up hills it's an impressive drive all round.
on top of that it will give you 32 MPG average on local driving or as my wife measures it £30 will do her 170-180 miles, considering what it is this is superb on fuel.
it comes with 2 Remote locking keys and the plastic emergency key
It has been well looked after and is in superb condition both visually and mechanically.
The mileage is just over 68,000 and can be verified via the old MOT certificates (VOSA Website)
since owning it we have had the following work done on it to keep it in tip top condition.
The power steering pump was replaced with a modern one within a week of owning it, this was done as a safety precaution as for peace of mind as upon research I had uncovered horror stories of these failing resulting in accidents
The wishbone bushes and drop links were replaced a year ago although I can't find the paperwork for this so I will contact the garage for duplicate copy.
Near side Rear wheel bearing replaced
A full service was carried out in February along with new Brake Pipes, Pads and sensors just before it had it's MOT
2 new tyres on the rear and plenty still on the front
The water Header tank was replaced 2-3 months ago genuine part from BMW fitted by me (a very simple Job)
Bad bits
A small cigarette burn in the Carpet
A 1 inch scratch on the rear leather seat
Oh and Brake light indicator came up on the dash the day we bought the golf
apart from that you won't find anything wrong with it.
