Mini Cooper S Race Car For sale 257BHP Supercharged car in great conditionTuned and now developed race car built for the Castle Combe Saloon Championship (but suitable for many Championships or even other disciplines of motorsport)
Retains a road registration, V5 and current MOT to April 2016can be driven to and from the circuit if required.
Newly built in 2012, MSA Log booked, Engine built in 2013 by GT Tuning and mapped by FCM Motorsport, 257 BHP, little use since then, Gripper differential fitted, 6 paddle clutch, lightened flywheel, uprated oil cooler, Milltec Exhaust, GRS Intercooler, Koni coilover shock absorbers / suspension double adjustable , racing springs, newly fitted adjustable spring platforms and bars to adjust camber and castor within the regulations for the Castle Combe Saloon Championship, front Willwood Brake calipers are fitted. The car has really benefited from the change in suspension parts and a complete set up on a scales and platform and instantly was extremely quick in the hands of a very average driver (me) in testing at Castle Combe
Safety Devices Roll Cage professionally welded in, Plumbed in & hand held extinguishers (hand held easily removed for racing), removable steering wheel, Armtech battery isolater and all correct internal and external cutoff switches and extinguisher pulls fitted.
Sparco Racing Seat and TRS 5 point harness dated to 2017, correctly fitted for racing with a matching second Sparco seat and 5 point harness also dated to 2017 available again with all correct fittings and eyes in the car.
The car is fitted with brand new 17" Team Dynamic wheels and Yokohama 17" Neo tyres (RAC MSA spec). If the car reaches the right price I will include a brand new still-in-the-box set of Team Dynamics 17" Monza r black wheels perfect for a second set of tyres for wet conditions
The car has just undergone further work with fitment of an uprated supercharger belt tensioner, new belts and service. It also has a wheel nut / bolt conversion done to fit uprated wheel nuts
This is a great car, it has so much potential and lots of uses, could easily be used for dual purposes of racing and coaching and can be used in so many different series and even driven to and from the circuit. Similarly..it would be an awesome track day car.
The car is in North Wiltshire and available for viewing.no test pilots though! For sale due to ill health of owner and retirement from racing. More detail available please call 01249 815105.
