MINI Cooper S R53 2002 Manual

Here you can see my beautifully maintained Mini Cooper S; cleaned and polished once per week, average km at 196,000 although doesn't show in the performance or visually. The Mini has very few scratches although the rims could be replaced/repaired as they have scuff marks along the edges (perfectly fine performance-wise though).


Aftermarket modifications:

- 'Whiteline' 20mm 3-way adjustable rear sway bar.

- 'Whiteline' Adjustable front sway bar linkages.

- 'Ultra racing' Front and rear strut tower braces.

- 'D2' 36 way fully adjustable coilovers all around (camber adjustable plates).

- 'Megan' Cold air intake kit with K&N pod filter + Intercooler silicone coupler seals.

- 'Pioneer' headunit 220Watt USB/Aux/Bluetooth (Matches the car so doesn't look silly).
- 'Alpine' Front speakers + Tweeters 200Watt (hidden behind stock mesh covers).
- 'Alpine' Rear speakers, 3-way 6x9's (also behind mesh covers)

- Carbon ceramic front brake pads + slotted and dimpled rotors.


So as you can see there are no silly modifications here, purely for traction, rigidity and stability. All professionally installed, tweaked and tested.

Everything looks standard but handles, sounds and performs great.


Only had for 8 months and already been serviced twice with fully synthetic oil.

Oil, oil filter, spark plugs, coolant, brake fluid and cabin filter changed in last service.


Positives:

- No rust.

- No leaks in the window seams (common in cars with frameless windows).

- No paint blemishes (purely scratches but the paint is as shiny as new).

- Never been crashed or written off (small stress mark in the front bumper cover from bumping the garage wall which is purely cosmetic and unnoticeable).

- Tyres/brakes/coolant/brake fluid/engine oil in great condition.
- Cold Air conditioning.

- Always filled with BP 98 premium only.

- Always garaged at work and home.

- Always allowed to warm up before leaving and cool down before shutting off.

- No engine oil leaks/leaks of any other kind.


Negatives:

- Scratches here and there (including rims).


One look and drive from a true enthusiast of handling vehicles and you will fall in love with this car; handles outstandingly.
