BMW MINI One Pickup Conversion - Promotional Vehicle - Road Legal - UTE

Up for sale is something a little bit different, this is my BMW Mini One Pickup. Built by my company, DMS Auto Service as a one off for a bit of fun and to make something a bit interesting. The donor vehicle started off in life as a standard 2002 1.6 One in a pretty boring shade of silver. The car was local to me and well maintained by the previous owners so was a good starting point to make the conversion. Standard features include:
Electrically adjusted and heated mirrors
Electric windows
Power steering
Traction control
ABS
Remote central locking
Along with this, an aftermarket head unit has been fitted as an upgrade to the standard stereo. We completely stripped the Mini and formed new sheet metal with aluminium skins from scratch to create the pickup bed and new rear end. The body was then prepped and painted in a modern Audi Ibis white with contrasting black bed, roof, mirrors and exterior trim pieces. The standard Mini wheels didn't fit the look of the new car so were swapped for a set of black 17" Team Dynamics alloy wheels with Toyo Proxes tyres all round. We then gave the car a 40mm drop in height to improve the overall stance and appearance. Under the bonnet, the standard engine is in good condition, no funny noises or leaks. Only change to the engine was an aftermarket RamAir filter fitted by us for a bit more growl when opened up. The car will be given a full service for the new owner as piece of mind. Underneath, the vehicle is very clean and tidy, again no leaks or other problems. Only issue was the original exhaust still on the car and getting on a bit so replaced front to back with a brand new system. When lowering the car we found that the NSF (passenger front) top strut mount bearing was looking a little warn so again this was replaced with a brand new part. It drives very well, tight and agile like a Mini should, don't be put off by the age of the vehicle they are very well designed and even early ones like this drive better than a lot of new cars out there today! The interior has had an overhaul with matching black headliner and trims to smarten up inside. Due to the new rear wall (and me not wanting a window cut out of it!) a small camera was molded into the area above the rear number plate, this then sends video into a small LCD screen that replaces the rear view mirror. A modern solution that works really well (see picture) and saves cutting out a small postbox window with a smaller field of vision than the camera gives. This is a quality conversion done by a professional workshop to a high standard with previous experience customising cars to this level. Would make a perfect promotional or advertising vehicle for your business, as you can imagine it turns heads and gets waves everywhere it goes! Don't be fooled by it's small size, the rear bed is surprisingly large which also makes it quite a practical little car and suits the dimensions of the Mini. The car has been MOT'd since it's been converted and is fully road legal and insurable, my previous car was a BMW 3 Series pickup that we converted and I insured that for £360 with all modifications declared including the pickup conversion. I will be sad to let this one go, it would be good advertising for my own business having it parked outside! Unfortunately I have a lot of labour and part costs in the car so she must go. Due to the nature of the vehicle, viewing is recommended. It's currently parked in my workshop in Reading so pickup from there within 5 days of the auction ending is required with cash on collection or bank transfer.
