Description
Relisting this due to non-payment.
Selling a project car I bought for my son and I to work on. This was his dream car but the deal was he had to keep his grades up to keep it which hasn’t happened. I’ve owned this car since March of 2020 and we have put a lot of work into it. It runs and drives really well, I still think there’s some tuning to be done. The car was from the southwest so it is a rust free car and extremely original but it does have a salvage title. Passenger side of the car was repainted at some point in the past (see images, some overspray). The paint and interior are the worst thing about this car as the paint is faded and peeling. The leather seats and dash are also cracked and weathered.
The Good
No Rust or rot, very sold car
A/C was charged with R12 in 7/2020 and has worked ever since
Rebuilt transmission installed - Still have the original (bad 2nd gear synchro)
New steering rack and tie rods - Still have the original rack (leaking seals)
New Clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing
New Fuel filler hose, Fuel tank was professionally cleaned and relined.
Fuel pump was disassembled, cleaned and OEM screen replaced
New fuel filter, cleaned and rebuilt OEM fuel injectors
New timing belt, tensioner, water pump, harmonic balancer
New power steering belt and idler pulley
New alternator belt
New Plugs & plenum gasket.
New Idle control Servo
New OEM wastegate servo and O-rings for turbo piping
New O2 sensors
New tint on all glass
New window regulators
Active aero works but is missing some hardware, have front air dam but it’s a little beat up.
AWD and All Wheel Steering works and is leak free
Upgraded 94” chrome wheels (a little peeling chrome)
PO installed drilled and slotted brake rotors
All fluids replaced
The Bad
The seats and dash are original but cracked
The paint is faded and clear coat is peeling in places
Missing the cigarette lighter
Missing small panels that hold the switches for the power mirrors and active exhaust switch
Missing Active exhaust switch is missing and actuating cable is broken servo motor seems to work.
Clips that holds the sun roof cover on are broken
Clips that hold the rear trunk cover on, one is missing, one is cracked. (cover still works)
Trim around sunroof mechanism is missing
Missing the Jack and crank rods
Active suspension seems to work when ECS switch is pushed before driving. Otherwise light flashes.
Antenna mast was removed, just haven’t replaced. Motor works fine.
Original OEM premium stereo works intermittently, the display was extremely dim when we bought the car. Wanted to have it restored.
The active aero still works but we removed the front air dam to see if we could repair some previous damage so without the front air dam the rear spoiler will go up but then throw an error and have to be reset.
