Up for sale is a rare 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 twin turbo AWD with four wheel steering 6spd trans. number 61 of 287 made the last year of them. I have had the car about six years or so and put maybe about 3000 miles on it, and done a few modifications to it and nothing half ass, I will try to list all the thing but I know I will be forgetting a few, Right now it is dyno tuned at 456 AWHP and with 467 foot pounds of torque and that is a low to mild tune for it for the stuff I have on it, It is capable of around 600 or so and if I don’t sell it I will have it turned up this summer. Things installed or done to car: Motor rebuild at 100k before I owned it, It has Kranks vent system, Snow performance stage 2 (Meth inj.), Maf sensor from a EVO because they are larger with harness, Short throw bearing loaded shifter assembly, shift linkage stabilizer bushing’s, DR-750 turbo’s, Greddy turbo timer and harness, NGK racing spark plugs, MSD wire set, Trans was rebuilt with build, Hardened output shaft installed in trans, Spec stage 3.5 clutch, Competition clutch light weight CNC made fly wheel, 3SX motor mounts, 3SX Custom adjustable cams and Kevlar timing belt, HKS SSQV Blow off valve, Blitz dual solenoid boost controller its set with 4 tunes, AEM wideband air/fuel, Greddy boost and Greddy exhaust temp, Drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk street/strip brake pads, Carbon fiber drive shaft, Light weight crank pulley, New timing components ( tensioner, water pump etc), oil pump, RC 660 injectors, fuel lab adjustable fuel pres. Reg., fuel filter, Walbro fuel pump and hot wire kit, fuel pres. Gauge, Large front mount intercooler and piping, K&N air and oil filter, Brad pin oil, all Fluids have been changed in rear end transfer case and transmission, Goodyear Eagle F1 tires in excellent condition, 5Zigen FNO1R-C lightweight racing wheels, rear diff stabilizer bushing, Stillen down pipe with massive 4” cat back exhaust with Aero muffler, sounds amazing, Bumper splitter, Hid headlights, EGR delete, That’s all I can think of off the top of my head I’m sure I’m missing a lot more I will add it in later if I can remember. The upgrades have little over 1000 miles on them when they was installed and tuned. Great car guaranteed to turn heads as it always does. Where the spare is it has Amps for the stereo that I did not install, one amp for the rear sup and the other for the door speakers, also about the tune it is set up for 93 octane and it has a two step where you press the gas all the way to the floor it sets the RPM I think around 3500, and builds a small amount of boost while sitting still, then to override the 2 step just double tap the gas. You CAN NOT buy a REAL 99 VR4 if you can even find one for sale that's not over 20K and put as many upgrades in it as what you can buy this car for.
Title in hand
If your wanting a stock 99 you can remove all the aftermarket upgrades and sell them for 3 or 4 times the cost the stock replacement parts and come out ahead.
Also think about what this car will be worth in another 20 or 30 years and how rare it would be then.
