1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4

I am selling my super rare 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 Spyder hard top convertible. This car is amazing! Factory equipped with All wheel drive, All wheel steering, Twin Turbos, and a 6 speed manual transmission, this car is as fun to drive, as it is appealing. The rarity is due to the fact that there were less than 600 VR4 Spyders made worldwide!
This particular Spyder was very well taken care of by the previous owner when I acquired it. Never in an accident. The interior, paint, and engine are all original. It was and is garage kept and driven casually. The buttons and controls are still as new. The shifter boot has been replaced with a black leather and red stitched aftermarket boot. I completed some recent repairs to bring it back to par mechanically including, clutch kit, flywheel, output shaft seal, speed sensor replacement, 4 Wheel Power Steering supply lines, 4 wheel brakes, engine oil pan gasket, high pressure power steering hose, timing belt, front crankshaft oil seal, 4 new Pirelli tires, new power steering pump, replaced A/C suction hose, new engine mounts, removed sub frame and cleaned and painted during transmission clutch replacement, and to round it off a new battery. The car has always ran great but needed to have a few leaks taken care of.
What makes this car even more collectible is that it was only manufactured for less than 2 years. When this car was debuted it had an original MSRP of $69,500! This was nearly the same cost as a GTS Viper and more than a loaded Corvette. Due to the high price tag there were plenty of issues selling the vehicle in the mid 90's. Due to the slow movement Mitsubishi cancelled the project in 1996. This was over 20 years ago and few of these guaranteed classics are still in the US. Many of these cars have been exported.
All of the electronics are original and in great working condition with no pixelation. The retractable hard top is in great working condition with no leaks and seamless movement. I still have a stack of maintenance records, original manuals, and even a VHS tape that came with the car. A beautiful exterior red and dark grey/black leather interior. NADA guide prices are $18,000 average and $24,000 high book value. This car is not average.
There are some cons The vehicle has never been repainted or touched up so there are some small rock chips in the hood and some scratches on the front bumper as seen in the pictures. There is a small dent in the front left fender. The rest of the car is nearly perfect. The clear from the headlights are starting to peel at the top portion. The driver seat is starting to fatigue on the left arm rest from getting in and out of the vehicle.
