Description

Up for sale is my Mitsubishi Evo 4 track toy - this has had lots of work/money lavished on it (details below) and I can confirm that this has been work well done and money well spent!!
The car started life in 1996 but by the time that I acquired it it may still have looked as it did back then but it was a very different beast underneath! It has been fitted with an Evo 8 engine which has been mapped and tuned (to around 400 bhp) and Evo 9 brakes - these are the bigger 6 pot Brembo's and make a world of difference. The pads have recently been replaced.
Since purchase I have fitted fully adjustable coil overs all round (cost over £1k fitted) and an Apexi AVCR Boost controller as pictured - it now runs more smoothly and really does go like f##k! I have also stripped out the interior, door cards etc but I still have all of the parts to put it back together. I have also fitted harnesses.
For our 10th wedding anniversary my wife treated me to a trip to the Nurburgring which was what made me purchase this. Up until that time this was a genre of car that I had had no interest in so (if you have ever driven one of these) you can imagine my first impressions!!! I used it at a few track days before going to Germany and the car performed flawlessly - so well that I have since been back to the 'ring! Even with an old fat duffer like me driving it goes round Knockhill on road tyres in a minute and the 'ring in 8m 18s - not too shabby!!
It has a set of lightweight racing 17inch wheels fitted with (good) Michelin High Sports along with a set of Oz Revolution wheels fitted with Dunlop slicks - the bigger wheels are needed to go over the bigger brakes. I also have a few other spares that will go with the car. If the front indicator was replaced the car should easily pass an MOT as the shell is rock solid and everything else works as it should. Currently there is no MOT or tax as I have never had any intention of using on the road.
Questions and viewings are welcome and, whilst I would rather not, I may p/x if you have something interesting (and realistically priced!)
£2950 - go on, you know you want to!!
