Description

For sale is this beauty: A 2002 Mitsubishi Magna station wagon with 210,000km on the clock. It is an auto - the transmission works without fault. It is also dual-fuel, running on LPG or petrol. This is a mixer style dual fuel. It generally drives well, starts first time, every time. Hasn't given us any issues over the 5 years we have owned it. Until about a month ago I was driving it 90km per day to commute, and it performed perfectly. Cosmetically, it is a bit rough - see pictures for more details.
Features:
- Automatic transmission - works well
- 3.5L engine, dual fuel - Runs well. Sometimes it runs a little rough on petrol - likely the injectors need cleaning due to it being run on LPG too much. Runs perfectly on gas.
- LPG tank - sits in boot in spare tyre well. Spare tyre is mounted vertically in boot. Think it is 60L, but cannot remember the exact figure.
- 210,000km
- Michelin Energy XM2 tyres: Front 2 look to be in reasonably good condition. Rear left (and maybe right) probably need replacement for RWC.
- Spacious station wagon
- Reliable
- Air conditioning is nice and cold
- Aftermarket stereo with aux-in, etc.
- Tow bar
Car does not come with roadworthy and does not come with plates. I'm not a mechanic and don't know exactly what it will need for RWC, but the following are the issues I've noted with the car:
1. Chip in windscreen in field of view of driver - windscreen will likely need to be replaced for RWC
2. Gas system was installed in 2007, so is probably due for re-certification
3. Headlining is sagging - see photos
4. Rear passenger door seal is loose and needs to be re-stuck to door frame
5. Both rear tyres will probably need to be replaced for RWC
6. The pain is fading on the bonnet and roof, there are a few dings here and there. The car is cosmetically a bit rough, but it is a good honest vehicle.
7. Some numpty snapped the radio antenna
8. One of the brake lights doesn't seem to be working.
9. Trailer wiring doesn't work properly, needs to be re-wired.
The car is located in Daylesford, Vic. It will need to be collected from there. You will need a permit or a trailer. You are bidding to buy, not to inspect. Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay/collect it. Inspections are welcome.
Let me know if there are any questions.
Note: If you have less than 20 feedback, please contact be before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. If you are not going to come and collect the car and pay for it, please do not bid.
