The CON’s
Spits Condensation (water) from exhaust when cold
Noisy rear drivers-side wheel bearing (repair cost factored into selling price)
2 rust spots at top of windscreen (smaller than 5 cent piece)
A few small marks around car + 1 bump under front right apron (stupid garden edging) & 1 bump under left front door sill (all marks are minimal and cosmetic)
Sat Nav GPS can sometimes be temperamental (restarts on occasions)
Engine Bay needs a good clean

The VERDICT
This 1990 Mitsubishi Lancer is the best on the market. It is as reliable as any new car, as the owner was prepared to spend the money on the mechanics, etc to keep it this way. The car has done an average of less than 10 000km each year. Paintwork and Body is wonderful due to the fact that the car was garaged for its entire life. It has most of the comforts of a modern car, with central locking, alarm, air conditioning and sports kit look. Passes any roadworthy test.
The only reason it is being sold is that the family has outgrown it (size-wise).
