Description
This is a 54 reg Mitsubishi Outlander which runs on much cheaper LPG but starts up on petrol and so is dual fuel.
It starts on the button and runs like a sewing machine because it has been on gas since leaving the factory. LPG is much less damaging to an engine due to lack of the particulates found in petrol & diesel, so it is as sweet as a nut.
The car has had new springs & shock absorbers, new brake discs and a new rear exhaust silencer all done this year. It has also had a new drivers window electric motor replaced last year.
The car does have a high mileage at 226k but it is still a great little run around for a family with loads of life yet and at gas only 82p per litre it is very cheap to run.
The car has twin sunroofs, leather upholstery, electric windows, radio/cd player loads of storage and cup holders, ideal for a family.
The car is only up for sale as we need a small van for the business and it would spoil this to use it as such.
The car does have a couple of areas of bodywork that will need attention but nothing that a rub down and paint wouldn't improve. The leading edge of the bonnet and around the LPG filler cap are the main areas. We have been quoted £120 for the work. The paintwork has some marks commensurate with the age of the car and a machine polish would probably bring it up gleaming ! A couple of seats have slight marks but overall they are good with no rips or holes.
The LPG system was factory fitted with 65 litre tank and we believe the previous lady owner had the system serviced at the beginning of last year but we don't have any documents to prove but we have had no issues whatsoever with the system.
The car is offered at a very reasonable price given the mileage so you can grab a real bargain and run it cheaply !
