Description
I Love this truck! 20-30% more grunt than standard 3.5L due to head work the previous owner had done in preparation for towing van around Oz before tragedy struck, which also means it gets better mileage than your standard 3.5L Paj.
Decent Pajero for its age, will come with Rego and RWC. We only brought it back in September 2015. Only selling as gifted a newer, better fourby from family. Will pass any inspection, only a couple of very minor issues that will be dealt with when put through RWC.
The Good
Solid truck, very tidy both inside and out. No major panel damage, only what you would expect for a 4X4 of its age maybe better. Interior very good for age and very comfortable seats.
Passed RWC on 31/07/2015. Has good near new tyres all round and has been lifted. Drives beautiful and sticks to the road like glue. Top of the engine looks like a bit of a hogpog of wiring but it's actually a blessing as the previous owner being a retired truckie has basically re-routed all the hard to get at sensors to the top of the engine for easy problem solving in preparation for his trip around Oz. Oh yeah pretty good stereo as well.
We also just had a brand new Exedy HD Sports Clutch (the pink one) put in less than 1000k's ago.
The Bad
Aircon works and blows real cold but has a slow leak. I have receipt showing that I had it tested and gassed not long after purchase and the aircon mechanic couldn't find a leak at the time and it ran real cold but slowly the gas leaked out again, and we haven't bothered to take it any further as we have a new car with aircon.
Paint is starting to fade in a few places (mainly bonnet and roof) and clear coat is getting thin in the same places.
Other than that I can't really think of anything else bad at the moment except that I don't really want to sell it. We were going to keep it for our son who is about to get his P's, but it's just too powerful for him.
MISC
The vehicle was previously fitted out with LPG but due to time constraints with having to get the tank re-tested the previous owner had the system removed, although some of the necessary items for the gas system are still fitted to the vehicle. The paperwork for this removal is with the car.
Any and all inspections invited and recommended as you are BIDDING TO BUY!
Please be reasonable and understand that whilst I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability, it IS NOT A NEW CAR and does not present as one. It presents quite well for what it is a 19yr old car.
$500 deposit required within 48hrs of Auction End, with the remainder upon pickup. Sale to be finalised within 5days of Auction End.
Vehicle located at Apple Tree Creek Qld 4660. Interstate buyers welcome to arrange ALL their own transport (we can get the vehicle to a spot on the Bruce Hwy were it can be loaded on transport).
