Body is in poor condition with rust around roof line and surface rust generally. My mechanic suggests that the van is not safe due to rust around the roofline and the seller does not take responsibility for the condition of the body of the van (hence the low starting price). Essentially the seller thinks the car would be good for parts due to the low km. Mechanically the car has only done 131024 km and has no known issues with engine or gearbox and runs ok for a 30 year old van of this type. The van takes a bit of warming up but my mechanic says that's typical for this model and it mostly relates to the carburetor type. Registered until 4 September 2021.
The van has only been driven occasionally since September 2020 (eg about 200km) just to keep it running. Engine probably needs an oil change. Windscreen seal was replaced recently. Brakes, steering and tyres are in ok condition for a car of this age.
