Description
Offered for sale is an extremely rare and highly sought
after 1953 Pininfarina bodied Nash-Healey coupe. This is one of just 60
examples built in 1953. It was painted about 15 years ago, and has been in
climate controlled storage since. The paint is in excellent condition, and has
never been exposed to the elements at all.
It ran and drove great before paint work. The car was again run a few
years ago, but not since. Never had rust, collision damage, or rust repaired.
Body was incredibly straight.
New wiring harness, front and back glass rubber, NOS front and rear Marker lenses, other NOS as well. All glass is in very good shape. Stainless exhaust. I would recommend a fuel system flush, cooling system flush, as well as servicing engine, transmission, and rear axle lubricants. The tires will need to be replaced. The leather interior, and headliner are in excellent shape as well. All bright work in very good shape as well.
The car is titled by the engine number, which was not uncommon years ago, depending on the state. the engine is not the original engine, and does have a cast iron head. The car is 100% complete, and does include some extra spares and books as well.
The coupes had a longer wheelbase than the roadsters’, and was a much more comfortable and roomy interior. This was, and is truly a thoroughbred GT. Don’t miss this tremendous opportunity to acquire one of America’s most coveted and sought after sports car ever built. Many more images available on request. Contact The Healey Werks for more information. We can assist with overseas shipping.
