Description
This vehicle was brought into our shop to replace the stock engine with the Skyline rb25det engine, turbo, and transmission. After having done extensive work on the vehicle (see attached repair order) we were never able to contact the customer. All work was done by ASE certified technicians. We have a the title after applying for an abandoned vehicle/mechanics lien and looking to find a buyer for this fine piece of machinery.
The vehicle has been in storage for quite some time; however, it has been covered and garage kept for the duration. As far as the rust is concerned the left frame rail is the only structural component starting to rust. There is rust on both of the rocker panels; where the rear suspension attaches to the frame is still solid. I have pictures of all areas of concern.
The customer provided the engine and transmission so our knowledge is limited on the details. The chassis has 174,786 miles on it; unaware of the actual miles (if any) on the engine/transmission. I know that it is the rb25det w/ skyline transmission and it has been integrated with the Skyline ECU. The vehicle still has the OE driveshaft & differential. The motor & transaxle mounts were part of a kit also provided by the customer. See the below attachments for a listing of additional parts installed & labor (part numbers included). Not included in the repair order is the body kit, I'm not sure of the specific part number or model, a $500-$1000 value.
The vehicle starts and runs great (no smoke out of the tailpipe). Recently filled with all new fluids. It does have the stock fuel tank that was set up for EFI. It was rewired when the ECU was replaced and has aftermarket gauges. The remainder of the interior was primarily untouched (no roll cage). The car was being modified for the intent of racing/drifting; though, it is street legal as well as it will pass a safety test if your state requires it (exempt from emissions). If you're interested and would like to see more please contact me; I have several more pictures and a cold start 360 degree walk around video of the 240.
