1982 280zx Targa manual (rb26dett converted) by Melinco Engineering
This car has had plenty of $$ spent on it.
Most people have no idea what make it is.
Engine / Drivetrain
Engineer plated RB26 twin turbo Conversion replaced the standard L28
RB25 5 speed GTST gearbox
Vipec R88 australian made proformance ECU (tuned by Godliza GTR)
Full 3" highflow exaused and highflow cat,
2.5" wide Front mount intercooler 3" seem welded pipework.
Boshe blow off valves.
Custom made dump pipes
standard rb26 turbos and wastegates.
Power Steering
Steering arm, tierod, swaybar Bushes all replaced 6 months ago
KYB Gas shocks and low Kingsprings in the front,
Koni adjustable shocks and low Kingsprings in the back.
Diff upgraded to an R200 shortnose, (good for around 450hp)
Body
Custom kit Front, rear and side body kit
grooved GTS fenders
Wheels: 14" Dragways with 90% tred on tyres.
Tail lights from a skyline gt-R KPGC110
With just about every 30 year old + car these days.. this one is starting to show a little rust.
mainly on the bonnet and a little around the lights at the rear.
Car was painted in a Metalic Tangereen Orange, this paintjob is over10 years old and is not perfect. although the colour still looks greatand is a sure head turner.
The engine bay is painted in gloss black.
Interior,
Full fitted black capet replacement
2x bucket recliner seats
no back seats, removed and replaced with carpet.
Sound,
12" boxed alpine Type R sub
Alpine amp,
2x 6" speakers + amp
Engine has very low K's and has never been ran higher then 9poundboost, which is close to standard for the rb26. Engine runs well asalways.
Perfect setup for someone looking for an awesome looking Drift, track or street car.
Selling Unregisterd as the clutch slips and is due for replacement.
also the speedo cable has broken and needs replacing.
