Condition:
This 2003 350Z Touring 6-speed manual (all factory options including Nav) was pre-ordered by me in January 2002 and delivered to me in September 2002. It is a first model year car and the 47th 350Z off the production line. This Z has been garage kept since new and has easy driven highway miles on it. Always hand washed (never through a mechanical wash) and I use the Blackfire polish system on it with a professional Porter Cable polisher. Until last week, this car has been sitting in my attached home garage under the car cover and on the battery tender since September 2014. I took it out for pictures, to get a MD State emissions inspection (passed), and synthetic oil change. The Nissan service manager asked if I took the rims off to clean them. This Z is very clean throughout and almost looks and drives new in most areas of the car.
Why it is Being Sold:
I am selling this 350Z because I am building a house in the country down a long dusty dirt road and I won’t be able to stand to see this car dirty every day. It would be nice to see it go to a Nissan Z enthusiast.
Details:
This car since new has only been driven from the months of April through October and normally only during sunny days. It has never been in any snow or salt and has only been in the rain a handful of times. The car drives very tight. Mechanically everything is working perfectly. An all Nissan stock car. No racing/performance modifications. This Z has always been driven responsibly by me. The car has never been tracked.
Interior is in near new condition, including the headliner. Only show of slight wear is driver seat edge from getting in and out. Passenger seat rarely ever sat in.
Engine compartment is like new (detailed after every hand wash since new).
Features:
Besides what's in the normal description (a Touring 6-speed model with every factory option), this Z also has:
-3M Clear Bra Front Mask installed when new (it has taken a few rock hits over the years saving the paint).
-Special pass through cover built for rear hatch to passenger compartment (exact match leather); it slides right out if you don’t like it (no holes drilled).
Cosmetic Flaws: A few blemishes along the factory rims (see pictures). A few minor parking lot scratches on the sides of the car have happened over the years. Those scratches have been polished out.
Mechanical: Everything works very well including cold A/C. Drives very tight with no rattles, etc. Has newer (less than 6k miles) Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 Rs (91W).
