Description
For Sale: Lovely, rare pink Nissan Figaro (Patsy) that turns heads but needs a loving home and some TLC.Very collectible.
1991 H reg. 1 litre turbo engine, which is quite nippy. Engine and automatic transmission seem sound, although there are a few age-related creaks and rattles. MOT is due in September but passed with no advisories last time.
Odometer reads as just under 55,000 miles (88,000 km displayed) at time of writing, which is pretty low. Looking at the limited paperwork, it has only covered around 3000 kms in the last 3 years. Japanese manuals included, one original key with Figaro fob and owners plate.
Insurance is low and cheap to fill up, also will be exempt from tax in the next couple of years!
As you would expect from a 24 year old vehicle, it does show signs of wear and tear. There is a little rusty ding on the driver door and some corrosion to the chrome parts, although this is only superficial. The previous owner got it wet and kept the Fig under a cover, sadly causing the interior and the upholstery to become dirty and mouldy, although this might clean out with the right treatment?
The roof is starting to shrink, although does not let water in at present. We do not have a garage and feel that it is not fair for us to leave her exposed to the elements at her time of life. Ideally, she needs to be kept safe and sound in a cosy garage.
Because of this, we haven't looked into getting the roof replaced as we feel it would only get ruined again, but apparently you can get a new one fully fitted for £300.
The radio has never been calibrated to UK settings, so only picks up a few stations.
All in all, this is a quirky little cult classic and a lovely car that is guaranteed to grab attention. Was purchased by previous owner for over £6000 (receipt on file). We would love to keep her but just aren't doing her justice. Hopefully, the sun will come out at some point and the roof can come down!
Thanks for looking! Email me with any questions and sensible offers. No swaps! Cash on collection only. Sold as seen.
