Description
This is a 1989 Nissan Skyline GTS-T AWD Turbo 4 Door Sedan.
The vehicle is in excellent condition. There are no mechanical problems, The interior is clean and undamaged with original stock carpets, mats, seats and dash and guages. The car still retains the new car smell from when it was purchased in 2007 and was never smoked or anything of the sort. The seat upholstery is still in excellent shape with no tears or rips, the driver seat has some pilling on the seat fabric but the back seats have hardly been used and the original skyline mats are still in excellent shape. The original japanese owners manual and maintenance receipts are still in the glovebox. The only non-stock item in the interior is a Blitz turbo timer/boost gauge, the electronics and gauges in the car all work well and the car has climate control built in and monitors external temperatures and can set the internal temperatures and it handles the heating and cooling automatically.
The exterior of the car is in pretty good shape as well. The car has been lowered without a cambering kit so it has better traction in corners but can tend to wear out the insides of the front tires which does need to be monitored over time. There is an aftermarket body kit installed which includes skirts, front and back bumper and spoiler. The front bumper has a crack in the corner of one joint on the left hand side (passenger side) from a street scrap from exiting a low driveway (will be in the photo). There has been some associated minor paint spidering from that crack that is visible on close inspection. The rear bumper has a few very small paint chips (the size of a baby's fingernail) from a backing up bump but that has caused some minor spidering in the paint finish as well although it is difficult to see in photos but in direct sunlight it can be seen.
There was a rear fender impact from another driver at one point, it was only behind the rear passenger side wheel well and was cosmetic but was repaired by a top quality body shop and repainted about 5 to 6 years ago.
The car is a cream white pearl so its iridescent in the light but also a bit more expensive to do paint work on but it is a fine looking car nonetheless.
Wheel hubs are Advan Oni (very nice looking aftermarket rims).
Mechanically the car is unmodified from stock except for a replaced dump pipe and a replaced downpipe from the turbo. The original exhaust downpipe had a rust hole in the heat shield so it was replaced and the turbo dump pipe had to be replaced as well. Other than that there are no modifications to the original stock RB20DET motor and it has its original 68,000 miles (110,400km) on it. There is a HICAS lockout bar installed on the car as well (locking out the rear wheel steer).
The car is also the AWD (all wheel drive model) using Nissans ATTESA traction control system and is the turbo charged version of the Nissan skyline (GTS-T)
The car has clear title, I'm the second owner in Canada purchased from a family member who had purchased the car a month earlier from the import company that brought the car into the country and had it brought up to canadian import standards and inspected. It was purchased in 2007 with 43,000 Miles on it so in the past 8 years I have added only 25,000 Miles primarily highway commuting.
I live within a 40 minute drive from the Sumas Washington Border crossing in Washington state (I live in Agassiz BC).
A motor vehicle that is at least 25 years old can be lawfully imported into the U.S. without regard to whether it complies with all applicable FMVSS. Such a vehicle would be entered under Box 1 on the HS-7 Declaration form to be given to Customs at the time of importation. You should note that the 25 year period runs from the date of the vehicle's manufacture. If the date of manufacture is not identified on a label permanently affixed to the vehicle by its original manufacturer, to establish the age of the vehicle, you should have documentation available such as an invoice showing the date the vehicle was first sold or a registration document showing that the vehicle was registered at least 25 years ago. Absent such information, a statement from a recognized vehicle historical society identifying the age of the vehicle could be used.
Purchaser assumes the responsibility of shipping, delivery and/or importation of the car (if sold to interested parties in the United States).
