Description
This is a 1989 Nissan Skyline GTS-T AWD Turbo 4 Door Sedan.
The vehicle is in excellent condition. There are no mechanical problems, The interior is clean and undamaged with original stock carpets, mats, seats and dash and guages. The car still retains the new car smell from when it was purchased in 2007 and was never smoked or anything of the sort. The seat upholstery is still in excellent shape with no tears or rips, the driver seat has some pilling on the seat fabric but the back seats have hardly been used and the original skyline mats are still in excellent shape. The original japanese owners manual and registration paperwork (which includes original date of registration for import documentation) is still in the glovebox. The only non-stock item in the interior is a Blitz turbo timer/boost gauge, and a panasonic mp3 cd stereo deck. the electronics and gauges in the car all work well and the car has climate control built in and monitors external temperatures and can set the internal temperatures and it handles the heating and cooling automatically.
The exterior of the car is in pretty good shape as well. The car has been lowered without a cambering kit so it has better traction in corners but can tend to wear out the insides of the front tires which does need to be monitored over time. There is an aftermarket body kit installed which includes skirts, front and back bumper and spoiler. The front bumper has a crack in the corner of one joint on the left hand side (passenger side) from a street scrape from exiting a low driveway (will be in the photo). There has been some associated minor paint spidering from that crack that is visible on close inspection. The rear bumper has a few very small paint chips (the size of a baby's fingernail) from a backing up bump but that has caused some minor spidering in the paint finish as well although it is difficult to see in photos but in direct sunlight it can be seen.
There was a rear fender impact from another driver at one point, it was only behind the rear passenger side wheel well and was cosmetic but was repaired by a top quality body shop and repainted about 5 to 6 years ago.
The car is a cream white pearl so its iridescent in the light but also a bit more expensive to do paint work on but it is a fine looking car nonetheless.
Wheel hubs are Advan Oni (very nice looking aftermarket rims).
Mechanically the car is unmodified from stock except for a replaced apexi stainless steel dump pipe and downpipe from the turbo. The original exhaust downpipe had a rust hole in the heat shield so it was replaced and the turbo dump pipe had to be replaced as well. Other than that there are no modifications to the original stock RB20DET motor and it has its original 68,000 miles (110,400km) on it. There is a HICAS lockout bar installed on the car as well (locking out the rear wheel steer).
The car is also the AWD (all wheel drive model) using Nissans ATTESA traction control system and is the turbo charged version of the Nissan skyline (GTS-T)

For those interested in importation to the USA its a pretty easy process as this vehicles original registration date and proof of age is on hand in the glovebox (in the original japanese documentation). In japan the cars have to be re-registered every few years and every registration includes the date of the original registration which is stamped on each registration paper and I have them all. The car was first registered in Japan in October of 1989. Using Nissan's fast program you can find that the chassis number manufacture date is actually in august of 1989 so this car is established to be a 25+ year old vehicle for importation purposes. As such this page is the relevant page for those looking to import the vehicle to the United States face="Arial" size="2">
The cliff notes version is there's 2 pages of documentation to fill out is one and is the other. The first is literally one checkbox and a date field and your info and the 2nd is car vin, port code e (21+ year old exempt) and dates and signatures. The only document requirements is proof of age or original registration which is available.
To purchase the car in BC would require signing the transfer paperwork from BC and having proof of foreign residence which allows you to purchase the vehicle sales tax exempt (if for use outside of BC). From that point on the vehicle can be transported in your possession either covered by your own insurance and driven or transported by truck.
This is really an amazing purchase opportunity, the car is in amazing condition and for those performance minded wishing to update the motor to the larger RB26DETT model they are available on ebay including transmissions (which are heavier as well) for $3600USD free shipping in the USA.
After an engine swap and fees you would still be getting a car in amazing condition for much less than any other RB26DETT USA legal skyline has sold for in quite some time.
Anyways happy bidding and hoping the car finds a good home with someone that will take good care of it.
Purchaser assumes the responsibility of shipping, delivery and/or importation of the car (if sold to interested parties in the United States).
Only serious bidders that plan on paying please.
I require a 10% deposit within 24hrs of auction by paypal. $150 would be non-refundable in the eventuality of having to cover ebay's vehicle selling fees.
The remainder can be paid upon receipt of the vehicle within 30 calendar days of the sale date by registered check or bank draft as long as payment is cleared before vehicle registration transfer occurs. This will allow a purchaser to arrange to see the vehicle and confirm the condition and state of the vehicle prior to completing the purchase.
I can put you in touch with companies to broker shipping however arrangements for the shipping are the absolute requirement of the purchaser, especially for US buyers as the purchaser has to be the one importing the vehicle either via a motor carrier or personally.
For vehicle shipping anticipate a range of roughly $2/mile transport costs (could be lower but may also be higher).
