Hi there,
Up for sale is my 02 St navara V6 manual,
Its got all the good features as its the ST model such as power windows, air con, Pioneer USB stereo. Its got a tow bar, tub liner, bull bar, head light and bonnet protectors and just under 200,000kms.
Im the second owner, i bought it off my father in law 2 years ago who had it since new and always looked after it.
Its a gutsy ute with the V6 yet still gets great economy. Also has a toneau cover thats not new but does the job and a homemade drawer in the tray.
However, a while ago it dropped first gear, hence the low asking price, despite this it actually still drives fine, ive been driving it like this for a while its just slow on the start in 2nd, but still quite good. my wife drives it to work 3 days a week with no dramas at all.
I was quoted it would be just under $2000 to pull the box, fix the selector and put a new clutch in while its out (preventitive maintainence) however before i could do it my father in law gave me his other identical ute as he felt bad.
Its registered till may and totally drivable, my mechanic said just drive it till the clutch goes then do it all at once as it drives fine so theres no reason to rush doing it.
Test drives welcome, great ute, only other things worth mentioning is air con only works on max (fine for hot days), told its a $20 part to fix and passenger window only works from teh drivers side button. Its got a few small dents and scratches as a work ute does but cleans up fine.
Its been such a good work ute and handles better than my new one so ill be sad to see it go. Its a nice ute not a crappy one, deffinately worth the little TLC to get it perfect.
