One of a kind Nissan Hardbody pickup 128K miles on body approx 80K on engine
4cyl diesel with 5speed manual trans PS, PB, AC
No rust
Was converted to a diesel using a JDM 2.3L non turbo OEM Nissan diesel engine TD23 from Japan. Truck was owned by my buddy that passed away in October. I have a clear Fla title in my name. This truck is really dirty inside from being used as a work truckhe also smoked in it. He used it for a work truck. He did mobile welding and used it strickly for work. The headliner is falling down, it needs carpet and the pass frt fender is dented. Tires are within 2000 miles old. Has a 5 speed manual trans and clutch is good. Truck has AC and it did work but I havent tried it since it has been cold lately. This swap was almost a bolt in so its not hacked up and the old gasoline wiring harness is still in place. Power steering and AC were reused. Fuel gauge doesnt work and I have a blown circuit in the gasoline computer which we used to run the diesel fuel shutoff solenoid. If the ecm died and the fuel shutoff needs to be rewired I will take care of that..just needs key on power to make the fuel solenoid open. Easy fix I will help fix before truck gets picked up. Tail lights dont work but its suspected to be a bad turn signal switch which I have another one i can give to go with the truck. Not all sellers will disclose the bad stuff..I dont have anything to hide and completely supportive.
The good about this truck is that its a great fuel saver. I drove it for over a month when we built it 10 years ago and on the highway going 65 with ac on I got 30 but he was able to get 35 with no ac running and driving a little slower. Around town it should get about 18-20 but I havent tested the mileage in almost 10 years when we built it. Like I mentioned earlier it is dirty inside and will need a heavy duty cleaning. Paint is fading and the windshield rubber strip is coming loose. The topper needs some minor repair at the rear window channel and Im still looking for the topper key. One last thing that is probably the worst thing about this truck is that its clogging fuel fiters and the tank may be full of biodiesel gunk. I drove it several times before the tag expired in november and it hasnt clogged a filter for me but I had to change it about once a year ( about every 10K) when he drove it because it plugged up.
If you have basic mechanical skills this truck wont need much. Parts are available here in the states for this engine ( water pumps, starters, alternators, gaskets, engine parts etc ) if it needs anything down the line. I know this for a fact as I have other trucks with this engine I own and I manage do find parts I need.
